PHAM CHINH TRUNG
• Born in 1955 in Hanoi.
• 1978: Graduated from Hanoi Fine Art Industry College – lacquer department.
• Member of Viet Nam Fine Art Association.
• Member of Hanoi Fine Art Association.
• Lecturer on pumice lacquer, design specialist – Hanoi Open University and The Dean of Lacquer painting faculty in Hanoi Fine Art Industry University.
• Exhibition and award
• 1993: Solo 1st Exhibition Lacquer paintings in Hanoi.
From 1985 to 1995: National Exhibitions of Fine Art and Awarded the Official Prize in Vietnam
• 1995: Solo 2nd Exhibition Lacquer paintings in Hanoi Fine Arts Exhibition in Hanoi.
• Regular participation in various exhibitions and have paintings in many collections in Vietnam as well as oversea.
• Pham Chinh Trung’s pumice lacquer paintings really move viewers by their traditional material and their unpretentious colors so simple
• and so close to our everyday life which, however, result a sense of elegant and nobility from each stroke, from the shine of the lacquer
• 1996: Is awarded as “ Golden hand ”
• 1998 “View from the Inside” at Nam Son Gallery in Hanoi two persons in group.
• 1999: Group Exhibition of Vietnam Contemporary painters by Vietnam Fine Arts Association.
• 2000: Hanoi Fine Art Exhibition at AECE – Hanoi. “Together with Children” at Friends Gallery to help the children in central Vietnam by CRS (USA) and Friends gallery organization in Hanoi..
• 2002: Exhibition at Vietnam Fine Arts Museum.
• 2003: Solo Exhibition at National Fine Art Museum.
• 2004: ASEAN exhibition in Tham Quyen, Beijing, China.
• 2005: Second prize in the Hanoi Fine Art exhibition
• 2006: Solo exhibition at Hanoi Art Gallery, Trang Tien Str.
• 2007: Group exhibition in Vietnam Fine Art Association at 16 Ngo Quyen Str
• 2008 - 2009: Solo 4th Exhibition Lacquer paintings in Hanoi.
• 2010: Having many artworks in various exhibitions and collections in Vietnam as well as oversea as Hong Kong, Japan, England, Australia, France, Thailand, America…
• 2011: Exhibition at Ho Chi Minh museum
• 2012: Exhibition at Vietnamese Fine Art Association.
• 2013 - 2014: Exhibition in Ho Chi Minh city
