Step 2 – Video viewing: For works that interest you, we can arrange a short video call viewing. This is particularly important for lacquer paintings – the son mai surface changes with angle and light in a way that still photography cannot fully convey. A ten-minute video call gives you a far more accurate impression of the work than any photograph.

Step 3 – Confirm and pay: Once you have decided, we confirm the price, shipping cost and delivery timeline. Payment is by international bank transfer or other agreed method. We provide a detailed invoice for every transaction.

Step 4 – Professional packing: Lacquer paintings are packed to a professional standard – the surface is protected with soft wrapping, the work is placed in a custom timber frame, then boxed in double-wall cardboard. Smaller and medium oil paintings can be safely rolled; larger works are crated in timber depending on size and destination.
