As a Gift
A painting from Hanoi Art Gallery makes an exceptional gift for:
- Housewarming, wedding, or anniversary occasions where a unique, lasting piece is appreciated.
- Corporate gifts for clients or partners — original art signals genuine thoughtfulness.
- Anyone who has visited or loves Vietnam, as a tangible connection to the country's culture.
For gifts, we recommend smaller-format oil on canvas works (40x60cm or 50x70cm) which are easier to carry and frame, or commission a custom piece with personal significance.
As a Collector's Investment
Vietnamese contemporary art is increasingly recognised on the international art market. Several considerations make it an interesting investment category:
- Authenticity guaranteed: Every work comes with an artist-signed Certificate of Authenticity, ensuring provenance.
- Established artists: Works by names like Thanh Chuong and Dinh Viet have a documented exhibition history and growing international following.
- Scarcity: Lacquer painting is a time-intensive medium; major works are produced in limited quantities each year.
- Entry price: Compared to equivalent-quality Western contemporary art, Vietnamese fine art remains accessible.
